Sun-gazing

This is a simple practice that can restore balance and harmony in the mind, body and spirit!

Did the ancient Egyptians, Mayans and Aztec civilisations who believed the sun a divine source of energy know this when worshipping the sun and the Sun God Ra?

Sun-gazing is looking into the sun during the time just after sunrise or as it’s setting.

This is when the sun’s ultra violet and infrared rays are most gentle and won’t damage the eyes. It is best done barefoot so as you can connect to the earth’s energy as well.

Sun-gazing stimulates the Pineal Gland, as the the sun’s energy moves through the eyes and charges the hypothalamus tract, which is the pathway to the rear of the retina leading to the brain.

Powers the brain and boosts production of serotonin and melatonin, the feel-good hormones and we all want to feel good right!

Relieves stress and tension

Activates the third eye enabling access to higher dimensions.

Increases energy levels.

Reduces hunger pangs since body is nourished by the sun.

Improves eyesight.

Opens the energy channels in your body.

Sun-gazing and Earthing are both keeping me grounded and connected at this time . With so much information available just now, for me keeping things simple feels like the truth.

Much love Rebecca.
